Demos, Deathride, and Studio Stuff
Things seems to me moving in slow motion now in this post-Death Ride lull. It seems things went a little "South" with the music towards the end of the production. For a myriad of reasons - whatever they may be - they're using only about 35% percent of what we delivered... But our name's still on it, and we're still getting credit for what we did. Could be worse. They had their first screening in LA last week, and from the accounts I read, things seemed to go well.

In other matters, demo work continues. Roughly half the next album has real drum demos now (as opposed to the programmed ones on the demos thus far). I still have a few tweaks to make click-track wise before doing some drums on "Accidental LoFi", but things are progressing nicely. Next step his handing all these tracks over to Mark for him to start abusing his guitars and processors. Perfect timing, too... Mercurial Labs, the studio at my home, is going to have to be dismantled here in the next month or so. But that's a good thing. We're moving to a new location, and I'm rebuilding a new studio from the ground up!
