Your band has truly become a staple on our station by the listeners. You should be proud of what you have accomplished so far.

Originally released in 2000, I’ve listened to this CD once a week for the past five years, and damn if it still doesn’t sound great.

Progressive World
Aggressive, atmospheric, edgy, ethereal, dense, dimensional, tactile, textural. That's how the trio Maximum Indifference describes itself to the unexpecting audience.

I bought this disc on a whim, finding the title to catch my interest. It has not left my CD player since getting it home. I taped it and that cassette has not left the player in my truck since I stuck it in. What a tremendously engrossing disc this is. Buy it after you read this review. If you buy it now and listen to it before you read the rest of this review, then you’ll never come back and read the rest . . . you’ll be too busy listening to this disc.

Axiom of Choice
Beware The Glabyglop opens with sampled sounds of a tickleable furry animal. The guitar then set in big times giving way to a powerful plodding opening. Especially strong chord work, in the case of most bands followed by a weak vocal part, but not this time. The track simply continues on the same line with some great sound effects at simply the right time. This makes the music more interesting and varied to listen to. The style of the band can be compared to Attention Deficit (better and more melodic) and Gordian Knot.

Subtitled Or Beings That Were Once Girls, the second album from Maximum Indifference makes for an intense yet ultimately rewarding listening experience.

That moment when you hear the opening bars of an album and your whole body just lights up with enough anticipatory adrenaline to replace the electric grid, is one I am always seeking, and this one left me wide-eyed and speechless, for rarely have I heard such a heavy progressive rock instrumental album in my entire life - this makes King's X look like Bucks Fizz!

The Missing Piece
An American 3-piece that plays instrumental progrock / progmetal and they certainly do a good job of it. Well it's not completely instrumental. There are some vocal contributions in the form of spoken parts. I do not miss vocals at all here. They have managed to create an interesting musical environment that has just the right amount of suspense to keep my interest up.

If not only for the excitement showed by Mark on this band and album, the mere name of the album would utterly force me to pick it up for a listen or two. Well, that two listens are past and many more will happen because what we have here is a tremendous progressive experience.
